Metromart is a New Zealand convenience store group with locations across Christchurch, Wellington and beyond. Founded in 2014 by James Godinet, the group has grown steadily into an established convenience store franchise, building a strong reputation for quality products, friendly service and a modern take on the classic Kiwi dairy.
While Myfoodlink was built with grocery and liquor retailers in mind, the platform's flexibility made it a natural fit for the MetroMart team. The group wanted a straightforward way to bring their stores onto marketplace platforms, without the complexity of managing product data manually across multiple locations.
Metromart uses the Myfoodlink Product Core store type, which connects their point of sale system to the Myfoodlink platform. Myfoodlink then enriches that product data with images and key product information, before sending it to Uber Eats and DoorDash. When orders are completed, sales data is automatically retrieved from the marketplace and posted back to the POS, keeping stock levels and sales records accurate without any manual handling by store staff.
Today, 11 MetroMart stores are live on the platform, with their products shoppable through Uber Eats and DoorDash across their New Zealand locations.
