As with so many other businesses, the move to online was spurred along by the advent of Covid and the need to offer customers a dynamic shopping solution and same day delivery options. For ILG, with so many unique stores, differing Point of Sale systems and product lists, it was hard to find a solution that would fit the majority of their stores. After researching a number of e-commerce options, ILG approached Myfoodlink and the first store went Live in March 2022.
High on the list was the ability of the Myfoodlink platform to integrate with multiple POS systems, control products images and content on a central Host via barcode matching, and offer “Endless Aisle” to their membership, to help make those members with unique product ranges have a point of difference to their competitors.
With the current rate of ILG bottleshops going online, they aim to have 120 online store by the end of FY2024.
